Zombie Walk 2012 – Photo Review

Saturday, the walking dead consumed the Short North to benefit the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Orderly and semi-ambulant, the zombies congregated at Goodale Park at 4pm on May 12th. Theatrical blood brought the animated corpses to life as both sides of High Street became a scene from the Night of the Living Dead. Founder, Kurt Chaney and members of S.T.A.R.S. Columbus were present to maintain a high level of security during the walk. Guts and gore aside, the costumes and make up were spectacular and it was nice to to realize that the dead can feed the living.
