    Zoe Cafe Opens in Bexley

There’s been rumors of a second Tasi Cafe location in Bexley for well over a year now, and the rumors have finally (sort of) come true. The new Zoe Cafe officially opened for business yesterday at 2376 East Main Street (in a former W.G. Grinders location that closed in 2013), and while the concept isn’t identical to Tasi Cafe in the Short North, it is the creation of the same owner, Tasi Rigsby.

While the Tasi Cafe focuses more exclusively on breakfast, brunch and lunch and closes early at 5pm, Zoe has a more robust menu that includes dinner and bar options ranging from New York strip steaks to oven roasted Greek chicken to house-made lasagna. All dinner entrees range from $10-17 and lunch entrees are in the $7-10 range, keeping prices affordable in an upscale environment.

Rigsby confirmed that yesterday’s soft open was busier than expected, but everything ran fairly smoothly, and that today’s breakfast and lunch service were also quite busy. The restaurant is the third for Rigsby and her husband Kent, who helped pioneer the Short North neighborhood when he opened Rigsby’s Kitchen back in 1986. The couple also own and operate the Eleni-Christina Bakery in the Short North.

Zoe Cafe is open Monday through Saturday from 7am to 10pm and Sunday from 8am to 9pm.
