Site work has begun at 950 Goodale Blvd., where a two-story office building is due to be finished by spring of 2020, and work is set to ramp up soon on a 20-unit row of townhomes that will front Bobcat Avenue.

The two-story townhomes – named “The Junction” – will be spread among three separate buildings.

Carlile Patchen & Murphy has been signed on as the first tenant of the office building; the law firm will occupy about 17,000 square feet of the 34,000-square-foot building.

An announcement sent out yesterday by Grandview Yard’s master developer Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) provided the latest information on the new buildings, as well as an update on other facets of the 125-acre project.

The first residents have moved into the Dorchester East and West apartment buildings, and construction has started on the first phase of single family homes by M/I Homes. Also getting started is a new phase of attached homes by Wagenbrenner Development.

The new office building is being built on the parcel that at one time had been slated to hold a 50-bed rehabilitation facility. That project, which was a partnership between HealthSouth Corp. and NRI, was cancelled in September of 2017, according to the city of Grandview Heights.
