    Women’s Fund of Central Ohio Announces New President and CEO

    The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio’s board of directors has announced Mary Cusick as its new president and CEO. She will begin her new role starting April 30, 2018.

    Cusick has a wide-ranging background that includes work in public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she served as chief of TourismOhio for the State of Ohio.

    “The organization is well-positioned to transform the work of gender equality with our new bold and focused strategic agenda,” says Wendy Arlin, chair, board of directors. “With her passion for the mission, depth and breadth of experience, and proven track record of scaling organizations, Mary will continue to build on the current vision and take us to the next level in creating lasting social change for women and girls in our community.”

    Cusick has served on the boards of many nonprofits, including the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Development Board, German Village Society, Public Relations Society of America, South Side Learning and Development Center at Reeb Avenue, Ruling Our eXperiences (ROX) and Action for Children. Her private sector work includes roles as  Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Bob Evans.

    Cusick was awarded the YWCA Woman of Achievement award in 2010.
