Preparing future nonprofit leaders for success was at the root of The Columbus Foundation’s decision to create the Summer Fellowship Program. By placing college students and recent graduates with Franklin County nonprofit organizations for a 10-week period, the program encourages hands-on experiences that enable them to immerse themselves in the nonprofits’ culture and gain valuable industry knowledge.

As the Foundation’s Summer Fellowship Program enters its 10th year, we’ve asked a former fellow, Ashley McIntosh, to share her insights on the program, and what it has meant to her as she has moved into the working world.

Read about Ashley’s experience, and get ready to meet the 2019 cohort of Summer Fellows!
