Last Friday, we asked our readers to vote on their favorite Food Trucks in our big list of 64 (nearly all of which will be present at this year’s Food Truck Festival, coming up on August 15th and 16th), and the votes poured in all weekend. Over 800 people cast their ballots in the first round, narrowing the field down to just 32.
Some of the closest matchups included Pitabilities edging out Holy Smoke, Herb’n Food Truck narrowly beating Taco Sherpa, Cilantro surpassing Land Yacht BBQ just barely, and Challah Food Truck beating the Burrito Bus by less than a 2% margin. Some of the biggest favorites in the first round of the reader’s poll include Junior’s Tacos, Hungry Monkey and Tatoheads, so keep an eye on them throughout the week.
Make sure you cast your votes in Round 2 TODAY, no later than 11pm. We’ll tally the results immediately afterwards, and then tomorrow will bring round three. Stick with us all week to find out the final winner, to be announced on Saturday at the Columbus Food Truck Festival at Columbus Commons!
