The annual Columbus Food Truck Festival is only one week away, and once again Columbus Underground is co-hosting the event’s online voting component that will crown one local food truck as the absolute best in the city. Due to a wider range of diversity in this year’s line-up of over sixty participating food trucks and carts, we’re doing away with the “best in category” system and going into a March Madness style bracket where food trucks are paired off for multiple rounds of voting and elimination.
The first round of voting will be open the longest, as it will immediately eliminate half of the contestants once its over, so make sure to cast your votes no later than Sunday, August 10th at 11pm, because the subsequent rounds will be coming fast every day next week after that.
The final winner will be announced on Saturday, August 16th on the main stage of the Columbus Food Truck Festival. The two-day event takes place at Columbus Commons on Friday, August 15th and Saturday, August 16th, from noon to 10pm on both days.
