The sixth annual Columbus Food Truck Festival returns to Columbus Commons this weekend, August 12th and 13th! Over 60 food trucks and food carts will be spread throughout the park and a neighboring parking lot with lots of live music, family activities, craft vendors and of course — plenty of beer to wash it all down.
Once again, Columbus Underground is hosting the official tournament-style voting competition to determine the Best Food Truck of 2016! Each day, voters will narrow the list down with five rounds of voting and the winner will be announced live on stage at the event on Saturday, August 13th at 2:30pm!
Winners from round one include: Bistro de Mohr, Aloha Streatery, Tortilla, Hungry Monkey, Land Yacht BBQ, Paddy Wagon, Island Noodles, Graeter’s Ice Cream, Hai Poke, Melty Crue, Pita Pockets, Butch’s Italian Cafe, Schmidt’s Sausage Truck, Gigi’s Cupcakes, Yabo’s Tacos, Johnson’s Ice Cream, Mo’s Original BBQ, Kenny’s Meat Wagon, Burrito Bus, Aromaku, Tatoheads, Daredevil Dogs, Sweet Cupcakery, Loops, Barrel & Boar, Ninja Bowl, Alice’s Comfort Food, Mixing Bowl and Cupzilla. Additionally, three of our top trucks from last year are now included in the contest after getting a “bye week” in round one: Buckeye Donuts, Hot Chicken Takeover and Mikey’s Late Night Slice.
