The Columbus-based online store carries affordable casual and dress clothes for women and men — from graphic Ts to tops for the office — as well as jewelry and accessories, like watches, hats, headbands and scarves.

Vitari-Boutique-02With a merchandise mix that’s classic and edgy, the store’s owner, Erica Vitori, described its aesthetic as “urban chic.”

“I’ve always been passionate about making people look and feel good,” said Vitori, a cosmetologist who worked in the the beauty industry for 14 years as a hair stylist and makeup artist.

Prior to launching her clothing business (which bears her family’s Italian surname before the spelling was changed at Ellis Island), she managed a salon and a cosmetology school.

“Having a boutique has always been my dream, and I’m just so excited and thankful for all my supporters,” Vitori said, adding that she loves picking pieces for the store and puts a lot of thought into buying.

One day, Vitori would like to open a brick and mortar store in Columbus, where she can create a very specific shopping experience.

“A lot of plans I have for the store can’t be done online,” she said.

Vitori decided to start with an online venture to create brand recognition and generate excitement for a brick and mortar.

“I look forward to being out in the community and having some pop-up shops in the months to come,” she said.
