According to a post via Facebook, the owner of the building that houses the gallery has “other plans” for the space, leading to the gallery not renewing its lease for 2022.

OwnerPatti Von Niessen, who also founded Summer Jam West, opened 3060 Gallery in February 2018 in the Westgate BusinessWorks storefront, to provide public art to the Hilltop community.

The gallery will now close permanently at the end of the year, with its last day of business on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2021.

“We are confident that the Columbus art community will continue to grow and thrive, and are honored to have been a part of it,” read the post. “It has been a privilege to work with so many talented artists and musicians. We also have great hope for the Westgate/Hilltop area, and its continued revitalization.”
