    Urban Living Tour – May 5th, 2019

    If looking at real estate is one of your favorite things to do, then you’ll love the chance to find the home that’s right for you on Sunday, May 5 during the Urban Living Tour. It’s no secret that Downtown Columbus and its surrounding neighborhoods have been getting new and updated buildings on a regular basis, and this tour gives you the chance to check them all out at once!

    For the sixth year, Columbus Underground is hosting the Urban Living Tour, to give you a glimpse of housing opportunities in Columbus. With something for everyone, whether you are new to Columbus, looking to move to Columbus, considering a change of scenery, or are simply interested in the rapid urban development happening in our city, you’ll enjoy this fun day of open houses in Columbus.

    The Urban Living Tour is a self-guided open house tour featuring housing options in Columbus and the surrounding neighborhoods. This year’s tour is Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 9 am – 5 pm.

    Check-in that morning to get your tour booklet (which serves as your admission ticket).

    The two official tour check-in locations are: The new Coffee Connections at the Gateway, the View on Grant. Tickets will be available for purchase for $20 the day-of at the check-in locations until 3pm. $10 Pre-sale tickets will be available online only until midnight on 5/4.

    Residential stops on the Tour include: Southern Tier Condominiums, The View on Grant, The Arbor, River and Rich, 223 E Town, The Julian, New City Homes, The Townhaus, Valencia on High, Hubbard Park Place, Yankee Lofts, Galion Flats condos at Jeffrey Park, Grant Park Townhomes, The Brunner Building, 985 High, and MicroLiving. 

    This year’s tour continues to showcase much of what it means to have an urban lifestyle with various residential options and amenities to tour. The tour is an exciting way to see many of the new and updated apartment complexes, townhomes, and more places to live in the city. With over a dozen stops featuring various residential and mixed-use buildings in different stages of construction, tour-goers will be given an exclusive opportunity to learn more about Columbus’ growing urban living options.

    You’ll see one, two, three bedroom apartments, four bedroom townhomes, studio apartments, and all of the amenities that go with them, including amazing clubhouses, sparkling pools, rooftop decks, balconies, and more! Some units are furnished to make moving in that much easier.

    Tickets to the tour are $10 in advance (available until midnight on Saturday, 5/4) or are available for $20 (cash or credit) day-of at one of the tour’s official check-in locations. Tickets include experiences at all stops on the tour, and a booklet with information on urban living in Columbus, plus a chance to win a grand prize! A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to The Columbus Foundation’s Gifts of Kindness Fund to benefit needs related to housing.
