Urban Living Tour Returns on May 6th!
Columbus Underground is excited to announce the fifth annual Urban Living Tour, a self-guided tour featuring urban living options and opportunities in Downtown Columbus and its surrounding neighborhoods. The Urban Living Tour has grown rapidly over the past four years, with thousands of guests collectively participating. It returns this year on Sunday, May 6 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
This year’s tour continues to showcase much of what it means to have an urban lifestyle with various residential options and amenities to tour. The Columbus region has been growing rapidly with Franklin County becoming the largest county in the state last year. Annually 20,000 people are moving to the area and there continue to be new and exciting residential options announced regularly.
The tour is an exciting way to see many of the new and updated places to live in the city. Whether you are new to Columbus, looking for a new spot to call home, or simply interested in the rapid urban development happening in our city, the Urban Living Tour is a way to get a great glimpse of city life in one day. With over a dozen stops featuring various residential and mixed-use buildings in different stages of completeness, tour-goers will be given an exclusive opportunity to learn more about Columbus’s growing urban living options.
Residential and lifestyle stops on the Tour include: The 303 Apartments, The Legacy at Jeffrey Park, The Foundry at Jeffrey Park, 223 E Towne, Hubbard Park Place, The Brunner Building, River & Rich, Jeffrey Park Homes, Grant Park, The Arbor, LC RiverSouth, The View on Grant, The Columbus Commons, Lear Block Lofts, and more to be announced.
Tickets to the tour are $10 in advance (available until midnight on 5/5) or $20 day-of at one of the tour’s starting locations (to be announced). Tickets include experiences at all stops on the tour, a booklet with information on urban living in Columbus plus each ticket holder will have a chance to win Piada for a year by visiting various stops along the tour route. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to Faith Mission and their programs to help the homeless and others in need.
