Update: Lomonico’s Downtown Restaurant Remains Closed

Last week we initially reported that Italian restaurant Lomonico’s had permanently closed both its Downtown and Pickerington locations due to the reports of employees, but later updated that article to clarify that the Downtown restaurant would reopen on Monday, February 13, as reported by the owner.

On Saturday, a notice to vacate the premises was posted on the door of the business at 340 E. Gay St. The notice instructed the business owners to leave within five days on the grounds of non-payment of rent and trash bills.

Multiple inquiries to the owner of the business went unanswered this week, and the business remained closed through Thursday, February 16. The Downtown location continues to be listed for sale online.
