Christmisc Brings Ugly Sweaters Back to South Campus Gateway

Ugly sweater fans, rejoice! The seasonal Christmisc. store has returned for a third season of upcycling yesteryear’s fashion trends into today’s ironic party wear. And while store owner Nate DeMars has relocated his year-round business Pursuit into the Short North earlier this year, the Christmisc. shop will remain within the South Campus Gateway.

“Our gaudy garb aims to make customers the hit of their holiday parties,” said DeMars. “Since each item is genuine and vintage, customers will find what they need to craft their own, completely unique, fashion statement for their ugly sweater parties.”

Beyond sweaters, Christmisc. also features vests, turtlenecks, sweatshirts, fleece, and holiday accessories. Prices ranges from $8 to $48.

The store is located at 1576 North High Street, inside the former Oxley’s Tavern, which closed over the summer, and will operate from 10am to 9pm from Monday through Saturday and from 11am to 6pm on Sundays. Christmisc. will be open through December 23rd, or until the supply of ugly sweaters has been depleted.
