Phoenix-based True Food Kitchen will open the doors to its first Ohio location on Tuesday, September 22.

Originally slated for an April opening, the restaurant will make its debut after a five-month delay due to the coronavirus pandemic as a part of the 16-acre Easton Town Center expansion at 4052 Worth Ave.

True Food Kitchen will serve up a menu of seasonally-inspired, healthy eats that emphasize simple ingredients prepared to highlight each ingredient’s natural flavors and health benefits.

The restaurant will open with its fall menu, featuring dishes like Butternut Squash Pizza, Charred Cauliflower, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lasagna Bolognese and Squash Pie. Desserts get a health kick, too, with the Flourless Chocolate Cake, Chia Seed Pudding and more.

To drink, there’s a lineup of beer and biodynamic, organic and sustainable wines, as well as seasonally-inspired cocktails. For the non-booze crowd, refreshers come in flavors like Kale Aid, Cranberry Limeade and Apple Lemonade.

at Easton, we want our guests to know that our dedication to healthy living extends beyond our food. We’ve enhanced our safety standards and social distancing guidelines to create a safe and comfortable dining experience.”

To adhere to COVID guidelines, True Food Kitchen has reconfigured its dining room for social distancing, and also offers outdoor seating.

For those not ready to dine out, the restaurant is also offering Family Meals To Go for groups of two, four or six, which include entrees, starters and sides. Pick-up and delivery are also available.

True Food Kitchen will be open Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Brunch will be served Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
