Treat to Try: Pumpkin Cookies at Chocolate Café

More pumpkin treats keep showing up at every place! Today we tried the Pumpkin Cookies ($1.99 each) at the Chocolate Café in Grandview. They were fresh out of the oven, and had an amazing aroma. It’s a golden orange, dense and chewy cookie that is light on the pumpkin flavor. About 4 inches in diameter. Piled on top of the cookie are mounds of a cream cheese icing, although it has the taste of a cream cheese flavored buttercream. The icing has pumpkin pie spices in it and is a very light brown. The spices are not heavy, just a little bit to remind you fall is here, and it’s finished off with fall colored sprinkles.
