Do you have a taste for thriller movies? Or even just love an adrenaline rush? If so, Trapped Columbus should be on your to-do list.
Trapped Columbus offers three rooms of your choice, allowing 10-12 people in each room: an Infected room, a Rescued room and one called Rushed. Each room varies in intensity and difficulty level. You usually are trapped with strangers and have to use all of your skills and work together to escape.
Our group entered the rescue room, and learned that our mission was to rescue a secret agent named Charlie. He was targeted by assassins and went missing but left five flash drives in his apartment. As Charlie’s fellow secret agents, our duty was to go in and find the flash drives based on the clues we discovered, before the assassins came in to take them and kill us. We had one hour.
The clues were not easy, so it definitely puts your brain to the test. The setting of the room was really realistic, so it was easy to become enveloped in the experience. The props in the room were set up in a way that made the adventure feel real, and even though there was a minor glitch with an important piece of equipment, the people working with us didn’t go out of character, or allow it to ruin the experience.
Trapped Columbus is a place filled with surprises and excitement. It will leave you filled with adrenaline and —if you’re lucky — proud that you solved a mind-bending mission.
