The Top 10 Places to Visit in 2019
The number of destination dining, shopping and entertainment choices in Columbus has continued to grow over the past decade, giving locals and visitors alike more variety than ever before. Despite that, our readers and editors have once again overwhelmingly voted in favor of The Short North being the top destination in Columbus as a spot for visitors.
2019 was a big year for the neighborhood, which saw the grand opening of new office buildings, restaurants, stores, hotels and more.
A couple of new chain stores arrived, in the form of Bonobos and Lululemon. Brand new hotels The Moxy and The Graduate both opened in 2019 — the former of which will see the opening of a Townhall restaurant in 2020 while the latter included a Poindexter Coffee and Shake Shack.
New nightlife in the neighborhood in 2019 includes cocktails on the rooftop at Lincoln Social, dinner and entertainment at SeeSaw, country music at Bristol Republic and some dive bar style fun at Fours on High.
