Top 10 Farmers Markets in Central Ohio of 2016
Central Ohio is home to over 40 seasonal farmers markets that take place in just about every major neighborhood and suburb throughout the region. Our readers and contributors ran through the list to determine the top markets of the year, and for the third year in a row selected the Clintonville Farmers Market as the best of the best.
“Their first market season in 2003 was run by volunteers and local businesses, which included six producers and ran for seven weeks in 2003,” stated CU Writer Randi Walle in a feature penned earlier this year. “The market has expanded and is now in its 14th running season with over 50 producers setting up booths. As if the open-air market isn’t enough to draw local shoppers in, live music, chef demos, book signings, and taste testing are all featured events of the market.”
The Clintonville Farmers Market will return for its 15th season on April 29th, 2017.
