Central Ohio is full of great outdoor spots to relax… from neighborhood greenspaces to regional metro park destinations. Our readers always have strong opinions on their favorite spots in the region, and this year they selected Schiller Park as the number one park in Columbus.

Schiller is the crown jewel of the German Village neighborhood. The 24 acre space is compact, but offers residents and visitors alike a vibrant place to walk the dog, go for a run, play tennis or basketball, entertain the kids or go on a picnic. Seasonal programming includes theatrical performances at the outdoor stage in the center of the park, as well as a wide variety of programming and classes at the recreation center.
