To-Go Cocktails Made Permanent
On Tuesday, October 13, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced he would be signing House Bill 669, which now permanently allows the carryout and delivery of cocktails with to-go meal orders.
The bill passed the Ohio House in June and passed the Ohio Senate in late September.
The sale and delivery of cocktails to-go was introduced temporarily in April as a way to help struggling bars and restaurants while shutdowns and a stay-at-home order began impacting businesses in March.
