In its 10th year, The Werk Out Music and Arts Festival takes place August 1-3 at the Legend Valley concert venue and campground in Thornville, approximately 37 miles east of Columbus.
The full lineup for the festival includes Dayton-based rock band and festival producers The Werks, Boston-based rock band Dopapod, Brooklyn-based funk band Turkuaz, and Columbus bands Barefuzz and Prontoh. Members of several bands will also come together for a tribute to Queen and Pink Floyd’s “The Wall,” which celebrates its 40th anniversary in May.
Visual artists to be featured at the festival have already been announced, as well as a schedule of “Werkshops” that include classes on tarot reading, Thai massage, ceramics and self-activation yoga.
