For those not in the know… Local Foods Week has been running since August 11th and continues through tomorrow, Sunday, August 19th. There’s a whole slew of local restaurants participating with special menus and promotions, so get out there this weekend and eat while the eating is good.
Several food bloggers have taken this task to heart this week and are publishing reviews left and right.
Jarsloth has a review of Mya’s Fried Chicken food truck. Beauty and my Feast reviewed the menu at Local Roots in Powell. Street Eats Columbus has a nice roundup of all things mobile during local foods week.
There’s a few updates to be found in the non-local-foods-week realm as well. Nothing Better to Do paid a visit to the Ajumama food truck. Columbus Food Adventures has a writeup on Little Eatery & Darista Cafe, two pop-up restaurants operating at The Hill’s Market. Itinerant Foodies has a review of the recent Rooftop Beer Garden event at Latitude 41. Our own Morgan Kelley reviews the small plate menu at de-NOVO Bistro. Drink Up Columbus turns in another Drunk Brunch report, this time at Knead Urban Diner. And last but not least, Breakfast with Nick provides a photo-heavy review of the blueberry pancake breakfast offered on weekends at The Hill’s Market.
So… where are you eating this weekend?
