Happy 1st of October! Waking up to a 40 degree morning is a reminder that autumn is officially upon us. Which means that cider, pumpkins and other fall harvest treats on on the way. This week we only have a small handful of updates. Neighborhood Fare has a quick review of Akai Hana Japanese Restaurant, as well as a post about Destination Dishes around town. Hounds in the Kitchen is celebrating today’s opening of Celebrate Local, the new pop-up retail shop at Easton that features a wide variety of local food products. Itinerant Foodies (pictured above) debates the merits of brunch and reviews Sage American Bistro‘s brunch offerings. And speaking of morning meals, Breakfast with Nick has posted up photos of the newly renovated (and slightly renamed) Honey Dip Donuts & Diner. Happy Dining, Columbus!
