Once again, we’ve manage to spread out our weekly food blogging roundups into monthly intervals (we’re considering changing the name) but it worked out since there wasn’t quite as frequent through late December and early January due to some heavier snowfall and of course, the holidays.

The last month has seen a couple of taco truck updates including a non-breakfast update from Breakfast with Nick on Taqueria El Fogoncito, a review of Super Taco Nazo by CMH Gourmand, and a post about El Mananero at Taco Trucks Columbus.

Nothing Better to Do has a review of Noora Persian Cuisine. Breakfast with Nick has a nice writeup on Destination Donuts (pictured above), which has been setting up at The North Market recently, as well as a brunch review from Pistacia Vera. CMH Gourmand provides a “quick bite” first look at Thurman to Go, which expanded into the former Bakery Gingham location on Thurman Avenue. Drink Up Columbus does Drunk Brunch at Level Dining Lounge in the Short North.

Reflecting upon 2012, Breakfast with Nick recently compiled a Breakfast Year in Review that is definitely worth reading. And looking forward, Street Eats Columbus made their 2013 Resolution for the Mobile Food Scene.

Last but not least, CU Food Reviewer Morgan Kelley filed her final piece with us on brunch at Sage American Bistro, and signed off with a 2012 Year in Review of all 42 CU restaurant reviews featured over the course of the past year. We wish her well, and are looking forward to our new food reviewer starting in February (more details on that soon).

    Happy dining, Columbus!
