The Wet Darlings Release First Full-Length Album “Beautiful Things”

It’s hard to believe that talented local rockers The Wet Darlings have never released a full length album. The band launched their first EP back in 2010, followed it up with a second in 2011, and released a string of singles since then. And now, after two years of work, the band has dropped the 11-track “Beautiful Things” album upon listeners earlier this week.

“We always wanted to make a full-length album — in fact, the material that made up our first two EP’s were recorded in the same studio session, and were initially going to be a full length, but we decided to split the content into two parts, to have less time in between releases,” explained drummer Aaron Bishara. “After playing together for a few years, this material came about as the result of our collective influences, and is more of a full-band effort. This album is the product of all of us collaborating, experimenting, and refining songs over a few years on the music, and is the most complete and honest artistic representation of the four of us working together, to date.”

The band will celebrate the release of the album with a show at Skully’s on Friday July 10th alongside Earwig and The Receiver. You can stream/purchase Beautiful Things below, via Bandcamp.

The Wet Darlings are composed of Jenny Lute on  Vocals, Bill Patterson on Guitar, Joe Patterson on Bass and Synth, and Aaron Bishara on Drums.
