Columbus is filled with amazing places for viewing all types of art — from visual to performance to theatrical and more. These institutions that host some of the most culturally important work are recognized each year by our readers in our top 10 survey/poll and once again the Columbus Museum of Art came out on top for 2020.
2020 was a turbulent year for any type of physical space hosting exhibitions of any kind, and the organizers at the Columbus Museum of Art went over the top to adapt. Virtual programs were added to keep in touch with patrons from the safety of their homes, COVID guidelines were put in place for safe gatherings at the museum and as of December 19 — the museum has re-opened to patrons on a limited, ticketed basis.
