The Roosevelt Coffeehouse will be hosting a pop-up tomorrow morning from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the site of their new location, 300 East Long Street in Downtown’s Discovery District. Construction for the new non-profit cafe will begin at the same location later that day, giving attendees a sneak peek of the facility prior to construction.

Sample blends Hairbender and Ethiopian Mordecofe from Portland-based supplier Stumptown Coffee will be served. Customers will also have the opportunity to receive a reusable Roosevelt cup that will give them a permanent 10% discount with every additional store purchase.

Founder Kenny Sipes has dedicated his company’s mission to partnering a premium coffee experience with support for local and worldwide social justice. All profits go towards fighting hunger, human trafficking, and unclean water. Sipes intends for The Roosevelt to host musical acts in the future, in addition to serving “good coffee for good.”
