    The List: Restaurants Open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

    The holiday season is upon us, and for some, putting together a big feast for the family seems like a daunting, unwelcome task. Luckily, some local restaurants are out there willing to do the job for you. As always, CU has compiled a list of those open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If we’ve missed any, let us know!

    Sweet Carrot — Grandview (1417 W. Fifth Ave.), Polaris (2050 Polaris Pkwy.) & Sawmill (7571 Sawmill Rd.)

    Open for lunch on Christmas Eve, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.

    They’ll be serving up house made comfort foods, smoked meats, and mac n cheese. Party trays are available for holiday celebrations.

    Taranto’s Pizzeria — 1282 E. Powell Rd., Lewis Center

    Open for lunch on Christmas Eve, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.

    They’ll offer their full menu.

    Mozart’s — 4784 N. High St.

    Open for breakfast and lunch on Christmas Eve, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.

    Guests can get quiches, schnitzels and a variety of pastries.

    Bodega — 1044 N. High St.

    Closed on Christmas Eve. Open on Christmas Day for dinner, 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

    The kitchen will be closed, but the bar will be serving all night, offering $5 holiday mules and half-priced Christmas beers.

    The Guild House — 624 N. High St.

    Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, opening at 6:30 a.m.

    All regular menus will be available, along with a holiday prix-fixe menu during lunch and dinner.

    The Barn — 5451 Edwards Farms Rd.

    Open for dinner on Christmas Eve, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.

    Guests can get their regular dinner menu or a holiday prix-fixe menu.

    The Point at Star Lanes Polaris — 8655 Lyra Dr.

    Open for lunch and dinner on Christmas Eve, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Open for dinner on Christmas Day, 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.

    They’ll be serving their regular menu.

    Firebirds Wood Fired Grill — 8760 Sancus Blvd.

    Open for lunch and dinner on Christmas Eve, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.

    Guests can get a taste of their “winter features menu.”

    Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace — 248 S. Fourth St.

    Open for lunch and dinner on Christmas Eve, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.

    They’ll have their regular menu available.
