    The List: Restaurants Open for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

    The holiday season is upon us, and for some, putting together a big feast for the family seems like a daunting, unwelcome task. Luckily, some local restaurants are out there willing to do the job for you. As always, CU has compiled a list of those open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If we’ve missed any, let us know!

    The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek
    1370 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna
    Open on Christmas Eve for brunch, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and dinner at 4 p.m.; closed on Christmas Day

    After The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek’s Sunday brunch buffet, the restaurant will offer a special holiday prix fixe menu as well as their regular dinner menu. The prix fixe menu, available from December 5 to December 31, is $55 and includes two courses and their holiday cocktail. Guests will have scallops and braised beef with wild mushrooms and port reduction to start, followed by a choice between an eight ounce filet and a crab crusted red snapper, with a bourbon cranberry smash to wash it down.

    Cherbourg Bakery
    541 S. Drexel Ave., Bexley 
    Open on Christmas Eve for breakfast, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; closed on Christmas Day

    For breakfast, Cherbourg Bakery will offer holiday donuts, quiche and strata. As always, their products will be free of gluten, nuts and dyes.

    The Guild House
    624 N. High St. 
    Open all day, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

    The Guild House will serve its daily breakfast menu and then will offer a special holiday menu, along with its lunch and dinner menus. The special prix fixe holiday menu has three courses for $49 and an optional wine pairing for $30 more. For their first course, guests may choose between The Guild House’s sun choke soup or carrot salad, followed by one of two entrees: a pan seared grouper or beef tenderloin. The meal is finished off with a peppermint mocha tarte, which features white chocolate, peppermint mousse, mocha flourless torte, and peppermint bark.

    Katalina’s Cafe
    1105 Pennsylvania Ave.
    Open on Christmas Eve for breakfast and lunch, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; closed on Christmas Day

    Katalina’s won’t be offering a special holiday menu, but their regular menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, tacos and breakfast entrees will be available.

    The Keep at LeVeque Tower
    50 W. Broad St. 
    Open on Christmas Eve for brunch, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., dinner, from 4 to 8 p.m. and drinks at the bar, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Open on Christmas Day for breakfast in the bar, from 7 to 11 a.m., Christmas dinner, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and for drinks at the bar, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

    The Keep will offer hors d’oeuvres, including a delicate squash agrodolce and wild mushroom soup, as well as entrees like their braised Ohio lamb shank, fatted goose, and house smoked ham, and dessert items, such as their sticky toffee pudding, pear tartine and egg nog ice cream sandwich.

    Moshi Sushi Bar
    2152 E. Main St. 
    Open on Christmas Eve for lunch and dinner, 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; closed on Christmas Day

    While open on Christmas Eve, Moshi Sushi won’t be serving a holiday menu, instead offering their normal menu of starters, soups, salads, sushi, and lunch and dinner entrees.

    SPAGIO

    Open on Christmas Eve for dinner, 4 to 8 p.m.

    SPAGIO will offer a limited menu with dinner specials that include a prime rib, veal piccata and Norwegian salmon.

    Open on Christmas Eve for dinner, 5 to 9 p.m.

    The Top Steakhouse will offer their regular dinner menu.
