Basi will look a little different whenever it re-opens. The Victorian Village hideaway undertook some renovation projects during the pandemic closure and is continuing to work on its new look before re-opening.
Byrne’s Pub
The Grandview Pub hasn’t yet set a date for it’s re-opening, with Pat Byrne sharing in a social media post that, “I will not make the decision to open on my own, it will be a joint decision by the wonderful people who do the work, the ones who do the serving, cooking, cleaning and all of the other jobs necessary to running this Pub. I will stand beside the people who have stood beside me for the last 25 years.”

Cameron Mitchell Restaurants
CMR is welcoming back dine-in patrons to 15 of its restaurants on May 21. However, CMR spots M at Miranova, Del Mar, The Guild House, Lincoln Social and Martini Modern Italian will remain temporarily closed.
Cosecha Cocina
Part of Chris Crader’s Grow Restaurants group, Cosecha has been closed throughout the pandemic and will remain so for the time being.
El Camino Inn
Downtown taco joint El Camino Inn closed until further notice on March 16 and will remain so for the time being.
Mouton
The Short North cocktail bar will hold off on re-opening, but hopes to announce a comeback date soon.
Nosh on High
Nosh on High opted to close until further notice during the pandemic. The Downtown restaurant is evaluating the best way to re-open responsibly and hopes to announce a firm date soon.
Pattycake Bakery
The vegan Clintonville bakery will hold off on a re-opening, sharing in a Facebook post their 400 square foot kitchen “is just not enough space for us to make delicious sweets and feel safe right now.”
Pins Mechanical Co. & 16-Bit Bar + Arcade
Pins and 16-Bit shut it down at the start of the pandemic and have not yet announced re-opening dates, but social media posts hint it won’t be until at least next month. The bars are making changes like cleaning all games and duckpin balls with UV sterilization.
Strongwater
Closing at the outset of the pandemic, Franklinton’s Strongwater will keep its doors closed a little longer, aiming for an early June re-opening.
The Sycamore
Part of Chris Crader’s Grow Restaurants group, They Sycamore has been closed throughout the pandemic and will remain so for the time being.
Veritas
Downtown’s Veritas won’t be re-opening in May. A message on the restaurant’s Facebook page shares more details into their plans to close all reservations for May and June, while developing a plan to come back better than ever.
Watershed Kitchen + Bar
Watershed Kitchen + Bar is continuing to develop its plan for a safe, socially distanced fine dining experience. The restaurant will keep patrons updated on its social media page and website as it finalizes details and plans for its next steps.
