This year, there’s no shortage of places, for every kind of budget, where Mom is not only celebrated, she’s treated like a queen. Here’s a list of 6 places around town to take mom out on her special day:

    Union Café

    Union Café will be offering Mother’s Day Sunday brunch as well. The grand brunch buffet skips the traditional dishes in place of Bloody Marys and mimosas, Belgian Waffle and Omelet stations, shrimp and grits, and more.     Columbus Fish Market

    For a more exotic Mother’s Day dining experience, consider J. Liu Restaurant. There are two locations in Central Ohio: The restaurant’s Dublin location, at 50 West Bridge St., has a special Mother’s Day menu, while the Worthington location, at 6880 North High St., opens with their normal brunch hours and menu.

    At the J. Liu of Dublin, diners are treated to both traditional and unexpected dishes. From salads and pasta, Asian dishes like vegetable lo mein, Crab Rangoon and spring rolls, and traditional brunch items such as seasoned potatoes, french toast and eggs benedict, there’s something to satisfy any mood mom is in for.     McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks

    Anna’s Greek Cuisine

    Hailed as one of the best Greek restaurants in the city, Anna’s Greek Cuisine, located at 7370 Sawmill Road, offers a Mother’s Day all-you-can-eat brunch buffet featuring all Hellenic dishes: hummus and pita bread, spanakopita, avgolemono, mousaka, lamb Parnassos, rizogalo (rice pudding) and baklava, just to name a few. There you’ll find: A soup and salad station; chef-attended omelet, pancake and waffle stations; sliced cured meats, pickles, preserves and jams; imported and domestic cheeses with artisanal bread; fruit smoothies and other breakfast-centric food options.
