The Goat at LC RiverSouth Will Launch Espresso Bar Next Week

The Goat at LC RiverSouth will debut their coffee shop on Monday, May 14. The a.m. offering kicks off just a few months after the bar and restaurant opened its doors at 219 S. High St. Opening daily at 7 a.m., The Goat will offer a full espresso bar and breakfast menu.

The Goat patrons can locate the coffee bar easily, as it sits just inside the entrance. The menu features the full spectrum of hot drinks, from espresso, to coffee, to hot chocolate and tea. Solid sustenance comes in the form of muffins, biscuits, a baked apple cinnamon roll and quiche. Also available is a granola and yogurt bowl, a breakfast sandwich, a hot chicken biscuit and huevos rancheros.

Providing the coffee is a top-rated roaster out of Nashville, Crema Coffee Roasters.

“As a company, we carefully and thoughtfully integrate ourselves into the communities that we join. This leads to opportunities, like this one, where we have the opportunity to bring well-known brands from other cities and communities here to our hometown,” said Chad Thompson, Chief Marketing Officer. “For example, we are truly excited to share the Nashville Crema Coffee Roasters experience with you.”

Guests can take their coffee to go, or to the adjacent workspace. The private room offers a 10-seat conference table and additional soft seating. Regional Director of Operations Alexis Webb said the room works well for business presentations, as it has a TV with media hookups for guest use.

Once The Goat coffee bar opens on May 14, it’ll serve coffee from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and breakfast from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
