In the strictest sense, 101 Beer Kitchen is a gastro pub. It is as equally committed to creating scratch-made food as it is to serving it with artisan brews. It’s not a sports bar, but if you want to enjoy the game as much as you enjoy your lunch or dinner, 101 Beer Kitchen may be the place for you.

In the bar area of the restaurant where the two televisions are located, 75 guests can comfortably be seated. These 75, of which you can be one, will enjoy a much more reserved game day experience, but one that’s sure to be unforgettable because of the 101 Burger.

The chef at 101 Beer Kitchen uses prime beef to make his unctuous burger, and this he places on an egg bun, and garnishes thoughtfully with excellent cheddar cheese, Nueske bacon, and a rich horseradish mayonnaise. It’s served with the usual suspects of fixings, and at $12, it’s still a steal for the true beef lovers among us Buckeyes.

101 Beer Kitchen is the kind of spot you’d see a lot of Ohio State alumni enjoying the game. Its atmosphere is laid back, but still maintains an air of classiness that makes this the ideal place to take visiting parents, siblings, and friends when you can’t get to The Shoe.

101 Beer Kitchen is located at 7509 Sawmill Road. They open at 11am daily.
