The Daily Growler Plans to Launch “Crowler” Truck

Craft beer and growler-fillery The Daily Growler has launched a new Indiegogo campaign aimed at raising money to buy a new truck, dedicated to bringing ‘Crowlers’ to the masses.

Their Crowler is a 32oz. can-growler hybrid, sealed and purged with CO2 to stay fresh for up to a month. The can format will prove especially helpful for festivals and events where glass bans are enacted. The mobile Crowler truck will be a standard model food truck outfitted with a cooler, taps, and a Crowler serving station. They plan to take the truck to music festivals, breweries, and private events where they can crowl beer on-site. The truck would be the first of it’s kind in the nation.

The Daily Growler has two brick and mortar locations in Upper Arlington and Powell, where they have 60 fresh craft beers on draft. Growlers are available for $4, along with flights and pints.

The campaign began yesterday, and ends on Sunday, May 24. If you want to help out, check out their Indiegogo page HERE.
