Fans of Angela Theado, who cut her chops in the kitchen of Alana’s Food & Wine, and who now serves her own amazing fare at The Coop food truck, now have another reason to rejoice. Theado and her crew will be hosting two pop-up brunches at Alana’s in the month of June.

On Sundays, June 1st and 8th, Theado will be serving an à la carte brunch at 2333 North High Street, not unlike her previous pop-up at The Hey Hey Bar and Grill. She’s pretty much assured to offer her outrageously delicious Yak Burger and French Omelet Sandwich, but the real star will be goose eggs.

“They’re much more decadent and have a richer yolk,” shares Theado on her choice to utilize goose eggs in her fare. “Nobody’s really playing around with them, and they’re probably three times the size of a standard chicken egg.”

Theado hopes to include this luscious treat in Deviled Goose Eggs and Goose Eggs Benedict, among other dishes. Items on the pop-up brunch menu should cost customers anywhere from $6-$16, and brunch will run from 10am – 2pm.

Alana Shock, owner and chef at Alana’s Food & Wine, will be on hand to serve coffee, wine and libations during these brunches. As always, reservations are recommended at Alana’s, so call 614.581.9353 to save your spot.

The Coop’s food truck will make appearances at Tacocraft Cooperative’s Tacocraft Art Sale in Grandview on June 14th, and at Comfest, June 27th-29th.
