The Candle Lab is expanding its Midwestern presence this year, planning to have four Columbus stores, two Cincinnati stores and one store in Pittsburgh by the end of 2017. Their presence in Cincinnati started with their Over the Rhine store, but for their second location in the area, they’ll be at the Anderson Towne Center, just east of downtown Cincinnati. It opens next Saturday, November 11.

“Our Over the Rhine store has been a big success and we’re ready to begin to expand to a new area of town,” said The Candle Lab founder Steve Weaver. “We’ve have had success in Columbus by having locations that touch a range of demographics (like the Short North and then a more suburban store in Worthington) so we’re duplicating that model down there.”

Their location, once home to Karma Hot Yoga, puts them in proximity to adults enjoying dinner at the nearby Bar Louie and families taking advantage of the SkyZone Trampoline Park just a building away. Using the same hours of operation as their other stores, The Candle Lab at Anderson Towne Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The Candle Lab’s fourth Columbus location, set to occupy a space in the old Yankee Trader building across from the Convention Center, is on track for an opening this December.
