The Big Table has always been about connection and kindness — and this year we need it more than ever.

If you’re still looking for ways to participate tomorrow, Friday, October 16, check out The Columbus Foundation’s recommendations for how you can connect with your community!

  • Connect through conversation. Reach out to someone who has been isolated due to COVID-19, or get a group of friends or family together for a virtual conversation. See the Conversation Guide for tips on how to host an engaging conversation.
  • Connect through assistance. Lend a hand to a family member or neighbor in need. Or, reach out to a local senior and preserve their story in our community’s history through the Connect Us project with Can’t Stop Cbus.
Connect through action. Volunteer with your favorite nonprofit! You can find scheduled volunteer opportunities with our Big Table partner organizations: Seeds of CaringBesa, and POINT.

There are many virtual programs happening tomorrow. Below are a few you can still join!

Email, text, or share your Big Table plans with The Columbus Foundation your Big Table plans before October 16 to be entered to win a Big Table hat!
