The Best New Bars in Columbus of 2015
Looking for a new spot to drink? Columbus has new bars to suit just about any taste. When our readers cast their votes in our annual Best of 2015 survey, they had a lot to choose from. In the end, the number one new bar of 2015 was The Walrus — located at 143 East Main Street, just around the corner from the hip emerging “South Fourth Street” area. The Walrus was opened by the owners of the Olde Towne Tavern, and shares some similarities in their styles of drink and food selections. The new bar features a garage-door front that opens up to turn their small patio into an open-air frontage while a small stage in the back hosts live music on a regular basis.
