One of the newest additions to the Cameron Mitchell family of Restaurants (CMR), The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek, is set to open Wednesday, September 17th at 1370 East Johnstown Road, at the roundabout intersection of Morse and Johnstown Roads.
The Barn will be more than just a restaurant. It will be a smokehouse/butcher shop/bakery/bourbon bar, a combination not often seen in our city. Under the direction of Executive Chef, Michael Rice, The Barn will serve steaks, seafood, barbecue, and desserts.
The steaks will be aged and hand-cut in-house to ensure the highest quality and flavor, while the smokehouse will feature St. Louis-style Pork Ribs, Beef Brisket, and a Five Finger Pork Chop, among other offerings.
Seafood will be flown in daily, and will be the stars in such dishes as Cedar Plank-Roasted Salmon, Blackened Red Fish, and Crab-Stuffed Shrimp. The Barn will also serves homey desserts, like Dutch Apple Pie, Caramel-Soaked Chocolate Cake, and Cheesecake.
The restaurant will boast a spacious dining room, two private rooms that can accommodate 50 guests at a time, and a scenic patio that can hold 75 diners, complete with its own fire pit and bar.
And speaking of bars, The Barn will feature the Bourbon Lounge, a special space showcasing around 50 of the most popular bourbons on the market today, as well as the restaurant’s own signature Woodford Reserve Blend. Classic cocktails, superb wines, and craft beers will also be available.
“This restaurant will be a wonderful destination for family dinners and holiday celebrations, as well as stopping in after work for a cocktail,” shares GM Wendy Middleton. “Visiting The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek will be like being welcomed into a sophisticated country home.”
The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek will open for dinner service every day at 5pm, and close at 10pm, Monday-Thursday, 11pm, Friday-Saturday, and 9pm on Sunday. The Bourbon Lounge will open daily at 4pm.
On October 12th, The Barn will also introduce its Farmstead Brunch Buffet from 10am – 2:30pm, a chance to truly flaunt the talents in the bakery, which makes the breads and pies everyday for The Barn.
