The third annual TEDxColumbus will take place on November 11th this year (yes, that’s 11.11.11) at COSI with the theme of “A Moment in Time”.

TEDxColumbus is the local edition of the popular TED conference series dedicated to spreading ideas about technology, entertainment and design.

“From innovation breakthroughs to poignant experiences to primary research to outstanding design, we’ll have another unforgettable line up of speakers and presenters,” said Ruth Milligan, TEDxColumbus curator. “Meanwhile, COSI is adding a new dimension with both a unique setting and memorable experiences that will round out the day.”

The speaker nominations are still open through August 12th, and the submission form can be accessed online HERE. Tickets to the event will go on sale to the public on September 19th. This year’s event at COSI is expected to cater to roughly 600 people in attendance.

“The spirit of TEDxColumbus aligns with our mission to promote creativity and innovation,” said David Chesebrough, CEO and President, COSI. “This all day event of spectacular sharing – both from the stage and among the audience – will be indeed, a moment in time to remember.”
