“People have been asking us literally for five years,” says Tasi Rigsby. “The lack of parking has always been an issue, but now people are used to it and it’s not a problem.”

Tasi Café will be serving their most popular items, including the Hangover Soup and Cinnamon Challah French Toast.

“We sell more Cinnamon Challah French Toast in the late afternoons before close than we do for breakfast,” she says. “The bread is from the Eleni-Christina Bakery and it’s just delicious.”

Patrons will also be able to enjoy Hot Buttered Rums ($5).

On Black Friday, Tasi’s introduced a new sandwich, the hot pastrami on rye, which will also be available on Saturday.

“It’s become one of our best sellers,” says Rigsby.

Other items on the limited menu include: Ceaser Salad, Braised Salmon Chayote, Roasted Half Chicken with roasted potatoes and mixed greens, Green Scramble with toast, and they’ve brought back the Tasi Cheeseburger with fries.

Visit Tasi Café at 680 North Pearl Street in the Short North. Regular hours are Monday through Saturday 7am to 5pm, Sunday 8am to 5pm, and Gallery Hop Saturdays (the first Saturday of the month) from 6pm to 10pm. For more information visit TasiCafe.com.
