University District

Located within a 2.8-square-mile area two miles north of downtown Columbus, the district is home to the main campus of The Ohio State University, the Battelle Institute, and the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. The district is Columbus’s most densely populated neighborhood featuring human service agencies, churches, schools, and more than 650 businesses, including boutiques, tattoo studios, the Landmark Gateway theater, and restaurants and bars.
