Our City Online


Bounded by I-70 on the north, B&O Railway to the east and south, and the I-270 Outerbelt on the south and west, the Hilltop spans 15 miles on the city’s west side and is home to about 70,000 people. The neighborhood can be traced back to 1888, when the Sullivant family settled there. Most of its neighborhoods were established by the 1940s.
