Ohio Governor Ted Strickland is proposing to allow the installation of slot machines in horse racing tracks throughout Ohio, including seven locations in Franklin County such as Scioto Downs and Beulah Park. The tax revenue generated would assist in resolving the shortfalls in the state budget.
