T.Y. Fine Furniture Now Open in Clintonville
T.Y. Fine Furniture has moved into bigger digs. Having outgrown their former home in Merion Village, they now occupy a space four times larger in Clintonville, having celebrated their grand opening on May 13.
The shop’s new 7,000 square foot space at 4555 N. High St. used to be home to the Clintonville library. What once displayed volumes of books will now be a furniture showroom with enough space left over for a large workshop where T.Y.’s artisans will create the company’s line of handcrafted wood pieces.
T.Y. Fine Furniture, named for owner Tarik Yousef, offers a selection of handmade furniture, and organic and hypo-allergenic pillows and mattresses for children and adults. New additions will include OMI organic mattresses and an expanded inventory of living room furniture.
“I am very excited to be moving to a larger space so we can expand our product offerings designed to support healthful lifestyles,” Yousef said.
To further that vision of supporting healthful lifestyles, T.Y’s new location has been upgraded to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) requirements, which involves highly efficient windows, insulation, lighting and roofing, as well as climate-controlled heating and cooling stations.
