Local artist Mike Siculan, who specializes in surrealism and puppetry, is now opening his working studio to the public. Under the name of Cirque de Vampire, the space is located at 6250 Busch Blvd. Housed in the space are Siculan’s personal collection of vintage Halloween items, puppets, posters, and dolls from the last 40 years.
Siculan has always enjoyed art, and studied at both Columbus College of Art and Design and The Ohio State University. He is involved in the Columbus Puppetry Guild and performs at the Worthington Farmer’s Market regularly. He uses his studio space both for creating new art and restoring vintage pieces. Ventriloquist dolls, clown puppets, and light up signs can all be found in the studio.
Siculan has recently opened his space up for public tours. For more information, visit the Facebook page, or to schedule an appointment to visit Cirque de Vampire, contact Mike at 614-515-7127.
