    Style File: Lexie Gantzer

Lexie Gantzer describes her style as put together and I totally agree.

As someone who has seen every ensemble Due Amici’s private events manager has worn to work over the last year-and-a-half (Columbus Underground and The Metropreneur share offices with Due’s staff), I’d say it’s also accurate to describe Gantzer’s style as consistent. This woman does not have “off days.” No sporting a hoodie and throwing her hair back in a ponytail because she’s tired or feeling lazy.

Though Gantzer’s primary responsibility is booking and planning all Due’s private events, she also coordinates its donation/charity efforts, helps out with marketing, and manages the host position. It’s a role that often takes her from a desk to the front of the restaurant to a party− all in one day.

When getting dressed, she thinks about who she’ll be seeing, what she’ll be doing, and where she’ll be going.

“If I want to impress anyone, I make sure to step it up,” she said.

    What she’s wearing:
    Shirt: Banana Republic
    Skirt: Forever 21
    Shoes: Michael Kors
    Watch: Michael Kors
Earrings: From a market in New York City
    Location: Due Amici

Favorite fashion trend of all time?

Can I have two? Rompers– so comfy! You can have super casual ones or dressy ones! And scarves– I love, love to accessorize with them.

What are you most vain about?

My hair.  If it’s not how I want it, it will bother me the whole day.

Who do you consider a style icon?

Jennifer Aniston. She always looks great and it looks effortless, which I admire. I like the natural look. I also enjoy Sarah Jessica Parker. She’s a little more out there with her fashion risks.

What are three things that you can’t live without?

Hairspray, Burt’s Bees chapstick, and sunglasses.

    Your favorite local shop?

The Peanut Shoppe on High Street downtown. The best buckeyes ever!  I feel like I travel back in time when I go in there.

A style motto you live by.

I want to look good and feel good. If I don’t feel great in an outfit, then I won’t wear it. I have to love it head to toe. On the other side of that, sometimes you have to “suffer for your beauty,” aka it really sucks to wear heels all day.
