Stack City Burger Bar to Open on The Cap This Summer

We already knew that the Hyde Park Restaurant Group was planning to open a new concept in the former Cup O Joe space on The Cap, but we didn’t know what the concept was going to be, until today. Hyde Park co-owner Joe Saccone revealed that the Stack City Burger Bar will soon call the 3,000 square foot space its new home.

stack-cityStack City is being described as a “boutique version” of a conventional burger restaurant that will mix modern/industrial decor with a sports bar atmosphere. Obviously, the menu will be very burger-centric, but will also include sandwiches, salads, milkshakes and a full bar with 24 craft beers on tap, a growler filling station, a cocktail menu, and even a few “spiked” versions of the restaurant’s milkshakes.

The restaurant will seat 100 indoors and an additional 75 guests on the large patio outside. The restaurant is aiming for an August opening.

Stack City will be the fourth Hyde Park restaurant in the Short North, which also includes Black Point, Eleven, and the Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse. The Cleveland-based restaurant group also owns a three story building several blocks south at the northwest corner of Vine and High, which has future plans there for another restaurant concept.
