There are plenty of holidays to celebrate the people you love, but there’s only one shining day where you get to show your love of beer: St. Patrick’s Day. Though only a few local pubs pay tribute to Irish culture — and booze — the rest of the year, every bar turns green for this holiday.

Starting Saturday, Easton’s Fado hosts one of the largest heated-tent parties in the city ($5 to $15 cover). To offer variety, Fado’s live music on the weekend skews toward rock with bands like Red Wanting Blue and Lt. Dan’s New Legs. The pub will showcase a fantastic lineup of Irish music on St. Patty’s Day, including New York’s Celtic rock stars, The Prodigals.
